Here are the Tin Teddy Daily Journal Prompts for the month of November 2020 . There is a printable PDF version available too.

Please feel free to interpret them as loosely as you like – or change, rearrange or ignore them too.

It is up to you how much or little you write each day – it may vary.

I will be doing the challenge myself and will put up some of my entries on Instagram.

Use hashtag #tinteddyjournal to post your own daily journaling – but please don’t feel you need to share what you write with anyone! The journaling is for your own benefit, but if you want to share, then please do.

If you had to live alone in a hotel room, with all basic needs taken care of, what would you do with your time?

Use an ink pad, paint, or colour with a felt tip onto a shiny surface such as plastic, to ink up your finger. Make some fingerprints on your journal page then turn them into animals or little people. If you want to write, add some biographies or details about them.

What is the best joke or jokes you have ever heard? Or did you have a favourite joke as a child?

You can travel in time ten years to ask three questions of your future self. What do you ask you?

Write down 10 words to do with your hobby, then look them up in one or more different languages.  Are there any surprising ones?  Are some the same?

List 5 reasons other people should like you

The Day I Nearly Died – (literally or figuratively)

It’s your very own Oscars! And they cover all years, not just this one.  So what is your favourite movie, favourite leading actor and actress, favourite film music and so on. Feel free to create your own categories for awards as you see fit!

List your go to daydreams to cheer you up

If you were to emigrate, what country would you like to live in?

One of your friends or family members has just become world famous! Who is it and what might they have done to get this attention!

What is in reach of you right now. Describe all the items you could touch without moving from where you are sitting right now.  If there are too many, just list the most interesting or significant.

What is your magnum opus? What have you created in your life that you are particularly fond of?

How would you pitch journaling to someone else? What would you recommend and warn.

Imagine you could write your journal today from anywhere in the world. Whether it is a small French cafe, on a tropical beach or in a cabin in the wilds, where would you like to go and why?

What is the most money you have ever held in your hands, and why?

You are on holiday in an exotic, far away country. Plan some of the places you want to visit whilst you are there.

Describe your physical appearance,as if you were telling a robot or computer.  Don’t be judgemental, try to keep it factual.

What do you take around with you in your bag? If you don’t use a bag, what essential items are in your car, or pockets?

Write down something wise that an older family member or friend once told you. If you can’t think of anything, what wisdom could you pass on yourself?

Imagine you could stop time for an hour at a go.. What would you do?

Watch an episode of a tv series you have never seen before.  What did you think of it? Will you continue to watch it?

What is a historical fact that amazes you. If you can’t think of any, search online and prepare to be stunned…

Write a letter to a penpal in a very different country to your own. Tell them a bit about your life and what it is like to live in your own country.  Keep your language simple, they are still a beginner of English.

Create a bestie. What traits do they have that are perfect for being your best friend? Give them a name, description, hobbies etc.

What time do you go to bed? Is it always the same? Why is this your bedtime?

Would you have liked to have lived in a different era? Write about what you would like or dislike about any historical era.

What is your favourite thing about yourself? Do you make the most of it?

You upset a witch. Now you must spend a year as the pet of a famous celebrity. Who do you belong to, what sort of creature are you and how great, or terrible is your life now.

Did you have nicknames as a child? How about as an adult? Or did you have friends who did? Would you like one now, what would it be?
