After 32 episodes and 14 months, I am sadly going to be stopping the Craft Seller Success Podcast for the foreseeable future.
I have really enjoyed creating the episodes, and I really do hope that they have been of use to craft sellers.
Each episode takes rather a long time to create. I need to plan and research the topic, write the script, record, edit, set up the matching transcript/shownotes and market each one. And the longer the podcast continues, the more complex the subjects I am tackling – which means more research and work to produce useful content.
The Podcast is not sponsored, nor earns me any income.
It is also the cause of quite a bit of stress, and of course does have some running costs.
For the significant amount of time that it is taking, when I have so much else I should be doing, sadly I have taken the decision to stop it for the time being.
I do hope that at some point in the future I may be able to continue.
The Existing Episodes are Staying Online!
All the existing episodes will remain available, here on the Tin Teddy Blog, on Podbean, Itunes and so on. You will still be able to listen to any you have missed, download them, read the transcripts and so on.
The podcast hosting I have with Podbean is paid for until the end of May 2020, so everything will definitely stay up until that date. I will do everything I can to keep them available after that date and have quite a few possible ways to do this, including just renewing with Podbean (if people are still listening and downloading to justify this). I have been very happy with my Podbean hosting and highly recommend them, by the way.
Thank you
Thank you to everyone who followed the podcast and my sincere apologies that I can not continue right now.
I’m so sorry to see this but totally understand. I came out to hear your July 9 Podcast because I made a note in my Planner to listen to it after listening to your last podcast. I have listened to ALL of your Podcasts, BTW. I love them and you have helped me tremendously with starting my Etsy shop. THANK YOU for all of your time, talent, and effort. You will be missed. Enjoy all your new free time!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Chrissy, that really means a lot to me.
I do hope that I can restart the podcast again one day as I did enjoy it. But sometimes one has to prioritise things, and sadly that is what I have to do right now.
Thank you again.
